Seven hours of my day were spent in class! I also took a biiig midterm and wrote/turned in a looong research paper. I feel pretty good about the midterm and as for the paper…let’s just say I have never BSed anything so quickly! I had been researching all week but I was having the hardest time putting it all into words. Thank goodness my fingers know how to fly when it is crunch time!
I finally got out of class at 6 and on my way to dinner I saw a beautiful sunset. It was so amazing that I decided to run down to my room to get my camera and take a few pictures. I was running down the hall when I felt something fall on my head. I figured it was just a leaf from the tree but as I was reaching up to brush it off I had a cynical thought pop into my head. I thought to myself, “it’s probably bird poop” so I let my hand fall back to my side. I walked into my room chastising myself for being overdramatic when I looked in the mirror to discover that sure enough there was a little piece of bird poop in my hair. I couldn’t believe it!
Since it was dinner time and it was just a little bit of poop I just grabbed a tissue and cleaned it up as fast as I could and then I ran out to my balcony to snap this picture of the extraordinary sunset:
On my way back to dinner I looked up into the trees and saw these two birds. They were there every time I went to my room last night! In order to avoid another incident I made sure to do a quick dash every time I passed under them. :)
After dinner I ran up to the garage to put together humanitarian kits. I, of course, went straight to the toothbrush station and had so much fun shoving them in the bags! Being the awesome BYU students that we are we are WAY ahead of schedule getting all of the kits put together! They won’t know what to do with us when they are all done! Ha! I’m sure they will come up with something to keep us insanely busy!To finish off the night we had a Friday the 13th party! Everyone dressed completely crazy…except me! There were a bunch of gothic looking people, people with torn clothes and ratty hair and then there was me…a perfect princess in argyle. What can I say? At the end of such a busy day I just didn’t have any energy left to look crazy.
Now we’ll just have to see if we can top it in March!

Perfect princess in argyle. :) And, do you love teeth or have some cool obsession with toothbrushes? I knew we were friends!
