annual middle of the night headache

About once a year I get this weird headache that wakes me up in the middle of the night. The only way to stop my head from pounding is to stand up which is just what I want to be doing at 2:45 in the morning. I have been trying to get it to go away for about an hour but I know that I still have a while to go so I decided to get my computer out to keep me company since it is far too late/early to call anyone to entertain me while I wait this stupid thing out. I played a few games of free cell and hearts, checked my e-mail and did my facebook stalking and my blog stalking so writing a post is really the only thing left to do so here I am typing a completely pointless post. I haven't done very well with my blogging lately so I guess it is better to write about something rather than not write at all and I don't really have anything better to do since I can't go back to bed or even sit down until I get rid of this stupid headache. Maybe I will turn my brain on (a horrible thing to do at 3:30 in the morning) and come up with something useful to say but just so you know, I'm only doing this at such an outrageous hour because of my headache.
